The website www.senneville.ca/en/ and all its contents (the “site”), which include texts, images, audio clips, video clips, software and other materials and applications (the “content”), are provided by the Municipality of the Village of Senneville (the “municipality”), for your use and information, strictly for personal and non-commercial purposes only. By using the site or downloading content, you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions set out below and agree to comply with them unconditionally and without limitation. If you do not accept any of these terms and conditions, please refrain from using this site.

These terms and conditions may be changed by the municipality at any time. You should therefore review them each time you access this site.

Confidentiality

Please be advised that electronic mail does not constitute a secure means of communication guarantying the confidentiality of information transmitted to the municipality. If you voluntarily choose to transmit by email to the municipality personal information, the municipality only uses the required information to respond to and follow up on your request. Electronic mail is treated with the same confidentiality protocols as postal mail. Under no circumstances is the information so obtained used to create user profiles.

The municipality ensures the protection of personal information that it receives in compliance to the provisions of the Act respecting Access to documents held by public bodies and the Protection of personal information.

This site contains personal information considered public by law. This information may not be used for any other purpose than those permitted by law.

The municipality publishes email addresses to be used by its citizens to obtain more information on the services that are offered to them. These addresses are not to be used to receive unsolicited electronic commercial messages.

Limitation of Liability

The municipality cannot be held liable for any inconvenience or damage incurred by you, or to your computer equipment or other property, whether due to a virus that may infect your equipment or otherwise, following your access to and use of this site, including among others the downloading of any content from this site.

The municipality, its suppliers nor any other party involved in the realisation or the delivery of this site cannot be held liable for any direct, indirect, special, consequential, punitive or other damages whatsoever including business interruption, loss of use, data, information, profits (regardless of the form of action, including but not limited to contract, negligence or other tortious act) arising out of or in connection with your access or use of the Site even if Village de Senneville has been advised of or foresees the possibility of any damages occurring.

Breach of terms and conditions

Any breach on your part to the terms and conditions regarding the use of this site and its content may result in legal proceedings.

Waiver – The failure by the municipality to insist upon or enforce the strict performance of any provision of these terms and conditions for the use of this site shall not be construed as a waiver by the municipality of any provision or rights contained herein.

Indemnification – You commit to defend, indemnify and hold the municipality and its suppliers, harmless from all liability, cost and expense, including reasonable legal fees, regarding any violation by you of these terms and conditions, or due to your use of this site or due to the publication or transmission by you of any message or information from this site.

Governing Laws – These terms and conditions shall be governed by the laws applicable in the province of Quebec.
