FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions Azur Day Camp

COST OF REGISTRATION OF A RESIDENT VERSUS A NON-RESIDENT
A resident means a child who is permanently resident in the Village of Senneville, otherwise the parent, grandparents or family friend will be billed at the non-resident's rate.

WAITING LIST

Upon registration, if a week is fully booked, you will have the opportunity to be on a waiting list. If spots become available, parents will be contacted in order of priority. Otherwise, it will not be possible to register that week and you will not be contacted. Despite being placed on a waiting list, if no space is available, your child will not be registered. To confirm that you have been put on the waiting list, you must complete the registration process until you receive a confirmation. No fees will be charged for any weeks for which you are "on hold".

NUMBER OF CHILDREN PER COUNSELLOR
About 8 children per counsellor. Camp Azur respects the ratios of the Association des camps du Québec.

COUNSELLORS AGE AND TRAINING
The minimum age of Day Camp counsellors is 16 years old. All must have completed DAFA (Diplôme d’aptitudes aux fonctions d’animateur) or equivalence and have a valid First Aid / CPR Certificate. In addition, there are Azur specific and in-house training as well as a background check.

FRIENDS IN THE SAME GROUP
Your child and his friend may be in the same group. To apply, it is important to indicate the friend’s name in the provided section at the time of online registration. This request must respect the age group category (5 to 8 and 9 to 12 years old) and the ratios.
